Day 5
11th of December, a day of presentation, since the corridors have emptied themselves of “Pink-badges”. First Climate Alliance’s “Solutions for change: (how) local authorities are contributing to meet international climate targets”. Then Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Partnership (REEEP) and SouthSouthNorth (SSN)’s “Accelerating low carbon energy development: REEEP successes in South/South and North/South cooperation”. Then International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA)’s “Toward a global climate deal: an integrated science and policy approach for real impact”. And to end of the day Hadley Centre for Climate Prediction and Research “Climate threats – climate solutions: A scientific assessment”.

Day 4
10th of December and major leak from the Danish government has hit the COP15. The so called “Danish-Paper” is everywhere. At a late meeting Lumumba Stanislaus Di-Aiping, who represents the Group of 77 (G-77) at the UN climate change conference, walked out of a consultation meeting with UN representatives in anger, because of the
“Danish-Paper”.
I am ashamed of being a Dane right now.
I hope that we can solve the diplomatic problems so we can get on with the real problems
.

Day 3

9th of December, a very closed off day. I started out with an exhibition at Hotel D’Angleterre, where European Space Agency (ESA) presented their latest project. A satellite, which will monitor the climate changes, will be sent into orbit in start February 2010 from Russia. After the exhibition we were brought out into the open sky to see the miniature model of the satellite, CryoSat, which is placed on Kongens Nytorv in Copenhagen.

Day 2
Tuesday 8th of December, yet another day out in Bella Center where there is no “pink badges” to be found. On my way through the halls to see the first presentation of the day, I pick up the “Earth Negotiations Bulletin”, which tells me that we are now 34.000 who has applied for accreditation, and thinking myself to be very lucky that I am inside the walls of the negotiations.

Day 1
Monday 7th of December, a busy day where everything starts. While standing in the queue to be registered, I talked with people from all over the world. A NGO group from Japan, all students from the University of  Kyoto. An American from a NGO group that deals with the agricultural industry. These are just some of the people, which I met.

DAY 0
Sunday 6th of December and the excitement of the upcoming Climate Conference are building. Many questions are running through my head.
Are they going to agree on anything? If so, can they come to some sort of resolution? Is it already too late? What’s to become of us all?
